No image can capture the beauty that surrounds us. But maybe it can awaken the curiosity, the awe and wonder within, to open, to feel and see ourselves, and to allow ourselves to be touched. May these pieces inspire and remind us of the beauty that we are all a part of, the beauty that is also us. The beauty that is you.

There is something quite extraordinary happening, maybe really quite ordinary, when being looked back at through the lens. I say looked back at because it comes closest to the feeling of nature revealing herself. (Not that she necessarily is she)

Such potential in the communion of looking… seeing, receiving. Letting us be taken by surprise and wonder, and our discoveries be an ode to her revelations and sharings.

THANK YOU! For being. For being touched by the depth of our vast field, in and through which we are given receptivity, reflection, vision, and great wisdom.

Decay and new Beginnings - the cyclical nature of Life |

I leave my pictures mainly unedited. Oftentimes because I am mesmerized by their natural selves.

There's a lot of honesty and directness in you get what you see, which I like very much, and which feels closer to our actual experience. (I must admit though, sometimes I suspect my camera to be creating even more beauty than is here already.)

Very few pieces have undergone the cropping knife or a sharpening tool, or a slight adjustment of contrast or colour. But for the biggest part you get the image as it was captured in the moment.

Just as the drops underneath the mushrooms that revealed themselves as I rolled around the forest floor.
